Following his qualification as a business graduate at the FU Berlin in 1984, Michael Witte gained extensive experience both as a corporate consultant and marketing manager. Subsequent to his studies, he was employed as a project manager at Prognos AG, Basle, where he analyzed and developed new business areas, in particular for leading telecommunications and media companies. Moreover, he implemented numerous projects within the transformation process framework of East German companies. In his role as a corporate consultant at both Coopers & Lybrand and BDO, he was able to support a large number of companies with operational solutions. Afterwards he was Marketing Manager at Robert Bosch GmbH and was responsible for marketing development in the broadband network sector. Prior to moving to the Heinrich-Hertz-Institute in 2007, he was Marketing Manager at the Investor Center Ostbrandenburg and responsible for communicating with and advising investors with regard to the customer care, services and telecommunications. Furthermore, he was also responsible for the organization and implementation of the new marketing approaches. The providing of new jobs was initiated by him through the settlement of several companies.
Michael Witte is Business Development Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich-Hertz-Institute. He is responsible for developing new marketing strategies and focussed on the acquisition of new projects and the promoting of new business opportunities. This covers also the process of planning the institute marketing directions in order improve the institute“s perception as a leading research partner in the field of telecommunications and multimedia. Michel Witte is also leading strategic, organizational, and business strategy projects for internal purposes and for major international companies.
